TCS is my dream company, I will tell in short why it is so. When I was in first year there is TCS campus drive in our institute, at that time I asked to some of seniors about the company and they told me in short and was very curious to know more about the company, to get more information about the company I started surfing on google and collected information and decided that this is the only company where I want to work. This is how the TCS became my dream company. To take my dream into reality I started working accordingly. When I got know that TCS take certain rounds, like Aptitude, technical interview, and HR interview. For aptitude round I need work on my quantitative aptitude and technical aptitude. In second year I started working on my technical skills, like improving my coding ability in languages like C, C++ which are the basic languages to learn any language. I started practicing the program in C also in C++. When we are in third I decided to start with the general quantitative aptitude, and fortunately our college arranged one month training program on general aptitude which was taken by Aptech. The training helped me a lot to work on my aptitude. After completing the training, I was much confident that I can crack the aptitude test of the TCS by practicing the aptitude question. For practicing the aptitude question I used spend some time on indiabix, which is one of the best website for practicing the aptitude questions and Quantitative aptitude by R.S Agarwal is also best book for aptitude. At the same time I started improving my technical skills, from my seniors I came to know about the GeeksForGeeks website which is one of the best website for computer science students, and this website helped me a lot during the preparation of interview. Because there are lot of interview experiences are present which helped me for preparing for technical as well as HR interview. The test was scheduled on 3rd & 4th Aug, till the test date I am continuously practicing general aptitude, technical aptitude & programs. Finally the wait is over and test day is arrived. My shift was on 4th Aug, on 3rd Aug I slept early because I want to appear for test with fresh mind. The test started at 11:30 a.m. It was one and half hour test, which is divided into four section such as English, Quantitative Aptitude, Programming Concepts and Coding. Each carrying negative marking except coding section. In English section there are fill in blank type questions, I have solved 13 out of 15. The quantitative aptitude section was bit difficult, I have solved around 7-8 questions out of 15, looking at the difficulty of test it was great number for me. There are 10 questions in programming concepts section, I attempted 7 questions out of it. In coding section there was one problem statement for which we have to code. My problem statement was bit easy, I solved it and code in 15-18 minutes, out of 12 test case my code was passing 7 test case, rest time I was thinking on how to pass other test case, but unfortunately I was not able to cover it. The test end at 1 p.m., at that I was feeling relaxed because my test went good. The result of test was announced on 10th Aug and I got shortlisted for the interview. The interview was scheduled on 26th of Aug, it was scheduled in R.I.T Islampur. It is video conference type interview taken on their own platform. It was my first ever attempt to give interview through video conference. Due to this I was bit nervous and waiting for my call. I was very lucky that day, when my name is called I went for the interview, and the interviewer said please be seated and wait for 5 minutes. After listening these words I was bit relaxed and I groomed myself in that environment. After five minutes my interview started. First of all they asked a relaxing question. 

Interviewer : How are you doing? 

Me: I am fine and good. 

Interviewer: Tell me something which not in your resume? 

Me: I told about my internship and my area of interest (They started asking questions on my internship) 

Interviewer: What problems have you analysed during your internship period for your project.? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: What things you done to make your project innovative and attractive? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: Which language you used in back end? 

Me: PHP ( Same question asked two times to check my confidence) 

Interviewer: So basically you are web developer? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: How you done the memory management of your website? 

Me: Not able to answer , But I told that we are not up to that point where can think of memory management. 

Interviewer: Do you have any interest in other languages like C,C++? 

Me: Yes , I do have. (Then started asking question on C, C++ and OOPS concepts) 

Interviewer: Tell me the difference between break and continue? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: What is inheritance? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: What is constructor? 

Me: Answered. (The interviewer asking technical questions said I am done, Now HR round Started) 

Interviewer: What things Frustrate you the most? 

Me: Answered. 

Interviewer: How do you control your frustration? 

Me: Answered 

Interviewer: What will you do if we don’t select you? 

Me: I will analyse the my mistakes and will try cover them in next interview. 

Interviewer: Are you aware about TCS one year Agreement? 

Me: Yes 

Interviewer: I am done. (They said me to leave, I thanked everyone) 

After the interview is done we are waiting for the results. The results were announced by the TPO on 13th Sept and I got selected for TCS ninja So this is all about my journey of cracking the TCS. It was a great experience during all the selection process. Thank You …..!

I would like to share my experience in TCS drive. As you know TCS interviews held in Islampur on 26th August and I cracked that interview. So I am very glad to share my experience. TCS is my dream company. As we know TCS is multinational software company and highest-ranked IT services company and the top Indian company. Every year it hires near about 20000-25000 fresher’s. To get more information about the company I started surfing on Google and collected information. The hiring process is starts with online TNQT exam. This contains main four categories, English, Quantitative aptitude, Programming Logic MCQs and Coding. After completion of 5th semester in December our college organized Aptitude Training program for cracking TNQT this training has helped lot to me. Near about all topics related to TCS NQT are covered in this 15 days training. Then in 6th semester, I practice on aptitude. Unexpectedly, I cracked TNQT and I got eligible for TCS Ninja Interview. The result of TNQT was declared on 10th August 2019. Then I had contacted to seniors who had cracked TNQT. They told about important subjects, possible questions which are required for interview. That time I was in my hometown. Due to flood all roads was blocked. No any single book, no any study material was available to me. That time I had taken the help of YouTube and educational websites like Geeksforgeeks, Tutorialspoint, and Stack Overflow. For technical interview I have referred careerride.com website. My uncle Prof. Avinash Joshi had guided me lot of for interview. He daily sends me some links of YouTube for preparation of HR interview. 5 days before final interview, college organized mock technical and HR interview. That time, I hadn’t performed well. They guided me, how to give appropriate answers. They shown me my weaknesses and told me where and in which subjects I had to improve. Then our CSE department also organized subject wise mock interviews. I worked lot of after mock interview. I studied C, C++, database, data structure, some concepts of java, and details of project. During this tensed period, my family especially my mom and dad supported me lot. They told me that only few days are remaining. Do your best. Don’t take tension. I will crack the interview. Finally the day came. On 26th August 2019, my first professional interview held at RIT, Islampur. I went to interview with lot of blessings, best wishes with confidence. It was video conferencing. 

First technical interview started. Some questions asked during interview are listed below: 

• Tell me about yourself. 
• Which programming language have you used for coding in TNQT?  Some concepts based on database: o What is joins? o Tell me about inner and left joins? 
• One example is given and they asked me, how many tuples will come in inner and left join? 
• Write a Fibonacci series program. 
• Which are the types of sorting? 
• One example is given and asked me to sort it by bubble sort. 
• Difference between C and Java. 
• Difference between C and C++. 
• Which are OOP’s concepts? 
• What is inheritance? 
• Tell scenario how multilevel inheritance occurs in C++. 

I had answered all most all the questions confidently. And then second interview started. That was Managerial Round. Questions asked by him are: 

• Which is your favorite subject in 12th standard?
• Concepts of chemistry like diffusion. 
• Who has invented periodic table? 
• In which language you have written first program? 
• Which most interesting program have you done ever? 
• Questions asked me in HR interview: 
• What you have learnt from college life other than studies? 
• Have you know about Guwahati? 
• Where it is? 
• If you don’t know about your job location then how will you reach there? 
• Can you work at any shift?

All these questions are asked to me during interview. The experience of my interview was good. After interview I was somewhat confident about selection. On 12th September, the result came. And I was selected. That was the happiest moment of my life.

“Success is a result of a ton of hard work with a slight touch of smartness.” A Job with the Leading MNC like Tata Consultancy Services is the aim for every Engineering Student and when I got this Opportunity through TCS Digital it was like a dream come true. Campus Placements are a very integral part of Engineering. Having a Job before you finish your last year gives you a high stack of confidence to face the industry.

                The First Round of almost every Company is the Quantitative Aptitude Test. The main Key to crack this round is Practice, practice and loads of practice. Till you don’t get a flavor of all the various types of questions that would be asked you won’t be able to face this Aptitude Round. TCS has the ‘National Qualifier Test’ (Ninja) which consists of 4 Sections: Verbal, Quantitative, Technical and Coding. The Verbal Section Consists of 15 questions the Time allotted to this section is 10 mins. Most of these questions would be fill up the blanks with articles, synonyms and Sentence rearrangement. The Quant Section will have 15 questions the Time in this section would be 30 mins, it is not advisable to give 2 mins to each question, a common mistake made by many students. Try to wind up and solve the easy questions in a less amount of time so that you can give more time to the difficult and time consuming ones. These questions are from general Aptitude Topics like Time-Rate-Work, P&C, Probability, Ages, Number Systems, etc. The technical section has 10-15 questions and the time allotted would be 20-25 mins. This section is comparatively of moderate difficulty. The Coding section will have 1 problem statement and 30 mins to solve it. The Tricky part in Aptitude is Negative Marking. Read the INSTRUCTIONS carefully understand them completely and then proceed.

                The Preparation for Aptitude can be started from 1^st Year itself but if you’re in the 7^th semester and if you’ve still not started practicing aptitude daily then it’s a quite alarming situation. Use any Book to take up aptitude questions or better lookup on the internet. Websites like Faceprep, Indiabix.etc provide an adrenaline of questions. I myself used a book called ‘Aptipedia’, It has all the questions topic wise and with increasing difficulty. Solving Company specific Mock Tests in allotted time is another great practice to deal with the pressure during the test. One key to keep in Mind is that the Company is not judging our Math solving skills, from Aptitude it is actually judging our Problem Solving Skills so keep in mind that most of the questions can be solved by Approximation and Basic Logical Tricks. The training by Sanir Kittur Sir from APTECH helped me the most to crack this round. His Logical Insight to every problem made it very easy to solve. The Aptitude Round Result does not only depend on your knowledge of Aptitude it also depends on the state of your mind while giving the test, its necessary to have a calm state of mind and to control your nervousness as it may lead to own disadvantage.

                The Bonus round for Ninja Test Toppers is the Digital Test which gives you an opportunity to get a higher package. This Digital Test has Increased Difficulty and advance level questions. A tip to crack this test is to focus on the Coding Section and Pass all the Test Cases. Here too the Negative Marking Coin plays a vital role. If you crack this test you get a chance to give interviews for digital role else you can continue with the Ninja interviews.

                Regarding the Preparation for Interviews I would say, prepare 100% of your Resume. The questions will be asked on the basis of what you’ve written in your Resume. So be careful while preparing your Resume, do not put unnecessary things that you don’t fully know about, that would lead to some unwanted questions. The Flow of your Interview is in your hands, Answer in a way that the next question will automatically be from your previous Answer. The questions would judge your knowledge about the technologies you’ve mentioned in your Resume.  

                A Final but a very crucial tip from my side Confidence plays a very important role in cracking any challenge any test. The Outcome depends 70% on your knowledge and 30% on your confidence with which you present your Knowledge.

I would like to thank Mr. Sayyad Sir for giving me chance to express my feeling of the getting placed. Getting placed in the Day-1 company of the college is one of the biggest achievement of my life. Words are not enough to express the happiness of me and my parents. The day “27 September 2017” is an unforgettable day of my life.

    Like the soldiers prepare for the war, we, the eligible students were preparing for becoming an employable person. The preparation was started from the 7-days sessions of aptitude and personality development by Campus Recruitment Team. This activity was for all final year students then afterward the training sessions for eligible students were started. At a point, due to the unfavorable market conditions, we are not yet got any details of companies coming for campus recruitment. But without much concentrating on that I focused on building myself. Then the day had come, Touheed Sir has announced on 20 September 2017 that Capgemini is going to come in our college for its Exclusive ADCET Campus Drive. 6 days Capgemini training sessions were conducted by CRT team. We sincerely attended all the sessions. On 26th we had our Mock Technical and Personal Interviews, I performed well in that. 

    Finally, the day had arrived 27th September 2017. Everyone was waiting for that day. I woke up early, called my parents for their blessings. The Capgemini persons arrived till 10:30 a.m., they had a presentation about the company and told us the schedule of the day. The rounds were as follows :

1.    General Aptitude

2.    Pseudo Test (Technical Aptitude)

3.    Technical Interview

4.    Personal Interview

We were told that the once we cracked Round 1 & 2, its 70% chance that we are going to place. These all were elimination rounds. 21 students had cracked the round 1 and 2. We all moved to the Technical Interview. In the technical interview, most of the questions I faced was about my project, then some basics of databases, java, c++.

In Personal Interview, I had only asked to tell about myself and would I able to relocate, Am I interested in higher studies etc.

    The interview was held till 10:00 p.m. Most of the important person of our college was present at the time of declaration of the result. Prof. Kanai Sir was going to announce the result. The heartbeats were going fast. My name was announced 5th, the happiness came out of me in the form of the tears. Everybody was clapping for us. Everybody was congratulating and clicking pictures of us. For some time, I felt like becoming a celebrity. It was a dream come true. Finally, we have got the fruitful result of our hard work. With the words from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam,  I would like to end.

I am Miss. Maheshwari Mhetre, I got a great opportunity to express my word with all of you.

15 October 2016 this was an unforgettable day for me which was I got Shortlisted for Capgemini.

After 10th , I wanted to take admission in Computer Engineering because become a Computer Engineer was my dream, and  my family inspired me in such a way that I was admitted to Engineering. And Now, I am an ADCETians which feel very pride.

My Journey started from before two months in which I did practice on aptitude, Technical, And Personal Interview also. The First Round was "Aptitude Test Round" it consists of Quantitive Aptitude + Logical reasoning, questions were 16+16=32 and time was 50 Min. Then next Round was "Essay Writing" we are practiced more and more on Essay writing on a "Grammarly.com" this website very helpful for us. In Essay writing, they expect 200 to 240 Words in 30 Min. My topic was "Education is a most powerful weapon". I was a little bit nervous because the Capgemini was my final target. Now, the time was the result of the first round and my name was the first name from our college and I'm so happy at that movement but, little bit tensed because after 1 day which was 15-oct was the First interview in my life.

I received blessings from Prof.Touheed sir, Prof.Sayyad Sir, My Family, and friends, on next day, I came to a college with good energy and positive attitude. Firstly HR panel comes and they take a pre-placement talk this was very important because of that time we clearly know about the Policies, CTC, and what they expect from us. Actually, at that time they tell us we are hiring fresher's today for Cloud domain. The interview started from 11:00 am. The Total count from all colleges was 147 and my number was 105 which were again first from ADCET.

On the 10:30 at night my number came, again I'm with a full energy and positive attitude. The Next Round was "TI Round" and at that time I remember only one thing that Prof.Touheed sir was told us "We are not going for an Interview we are going to For Discuss." Then my First Interview Question was

1."Tell Me about Yourself including Your Family?" Then I started with a Smile and first said the Thank you for giving me such Opportunity, and then I start Introduction I specify First "Name, Education Qualification from last sequence, Objectives, Project and about my Family"

2."Tell About your Third Year Mini Project?" Then I told about my mini project and I was used Cloud as a domain so, I was more focus on the cloud.

3."What are the Types of Database?"  It was the third question, and after answered they asked me, ok I'm done with you then they ask about their policies and relocation.

Then I was waiting for "HR Round " and My HR panel was Miss.Praneeta mam I asked For the Permission she said yes Maheshwari please come and  asked First question was "What is the meaning  of your name?" then  I was told with the smile and confident. Then next question was "About your Family background?" ….. Then "Your Weaknesses?"……"If you are selected today then what are you do?"……"Are you ready to Relocation?" I said yes mam. "Are you Interested in Higher Studies?" always remember this answer is NO.  And Finally,  she asked me "you are selected for Capgemini today" but I couldn't trust her because I think that she check my patience so I was not told to my family and my close Friends also. Then after completing all process they declare the results and at 12:45 am that means at night I was waiting for my result and again my First name From ADCET and I ‘am so happy.

That time was the very memorable time in my life which was a very very wonderful day for me. I ‘am very  Thankful to My Family, Prof.R.A.Kanai sir(Executive Director),Prof.Mulla sir (Principal),Prof.Touheed Mujawar sir(TPO) and special Thank You for Father of CSE Dept. Prof Sayyad sir(HOD) and Prof.Kore sir(TPC) and all CRT Members and My All My friends. Thank You So much.

26th September 2016, one of the most memorable day of my life which I will never forget. First Company, First Interview, voila I was in. I got an opportunity to elaborate my skills and to prove that I can also be the one of the best candidate. According to my grades I was thinking that I would not be able to fit in on/off campus related to the criteria but ALLAH showed me that anything can be achieved with the help of good thoughts, hard work, enthusiasm, blessings & keeping the hope till the end.

I woke up in the morning, prayed to ALLAH to give me Strength & Positiveness. I thought in mind that someone`s whispering that “Let The Day Be Yours As You Want It” and YES it was a Turning Point in my LIFE. I was enthusiastic from the very morning. I revised what I know, studied what I didn’t. Had best wishes of many of my Friends, Family, Teachers and Well Wishers & Criticizers as they showed me what I was doing wrong. With a positive hope in mind & Smiling Face I entered in Campus and rolled with the Campus Recruitment Activity. Many of Teachers & SPIDER TECHNOLOGY Pvt. Ltd. HR motivated us during Pre Placement Talk.

One after another I crossed the milestones. Pre Group Discussion I was a bit nervous, but I gathered myself and went in. Topic was “Room without Book & Body without Soul”, whoa! That was something new, but I noted points using the knowledge and presence of mind and spoke. Yup, cracked this one too. Now for the Technical/Personal Interview, scanned whatever I could, updated with the questions asked to previous interviewee. Now was my turn to turn the Tables, as it was late night @ 11 PM I thought I would be tired, but no the positiveness kept me fresh as a flower. Before I entered the Interview Room there was a Cold Silence & Shss, again someone whispered “Night is also yours, prove it”. With a gasp I knock the door and asked permission to enter. Voice from other end of the door answered, “Yes, come in”. 

With a cute Smile I greet the panel, so did they. Panel was of two HR (Sir and Madam) & Project Manager (Sir). The very first question I was expecting was “Introduce Yourself”, damn, instead they ask about “File Handling”. Got blank for a sec, but recovered and answered confidently till the end. TI was over, was a bit nervous, will they select me, was my communication correct, were my answer correct, was my body language ok. Everything was hammering me. Finally results were out, 11 were selected for Final Interview & hurray! I was one of them. 

Again started preparing for it, after sometime everyone was called in the Board Room.Togethter we entered like we are already an Employee of Spider Technology Pvt. Ltd. They asked us about relocation, salary, passport, etc. That means we all were already selected. @ 1 PM the moment was on, it was like angels were descending from Spider Tech Heaven to carry us all to the after-college-life to gain their heavenly pleasures. The moment of life, the turning point, all was possible because of the numerous Well Wishers.

Hello..!! I am Ms. Monika Mohite.

Thank you for giving me chance to express my success story.17 September 2016 is really unforgettable day, the day when I got placed in TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).

After 10th I had decided to go for engineering and taken admission for diploma in Computer Engineering. When I was in last year of diploma my cousin got placed in TCS from ADCET. Since that moment I was thinking that I have to get admission in good college and get placed in good company like TCS and Fortunately, I got admission in same college. In my life I have achieved lot of things, I was always topper in academics also but, placement success is greatest achievement of my life. I have no words to express my happiness of getting offer letter.                  

My journey begins one month before an interview. I was in first 5 toppers and TCS had policy to conducts only E-mail writing round for toppers. But, this year TCS changed toppers policy and we came to know it only few days before the drive.  After knowing this I was little bit tensed because I had not practiced aptitude. But, from next day immediately I had started to prepare for same. College had taken lots of practice, training sessions and many tests were conducted. I had also written in my diary that “Yes I can do it and I have to do it.” I had also prepared schedule for study. My parents are taking lots of efforts for my education. So now it is my responsibility to make them happy and proud. My mother always gives me inspiration and tells me that “Try honestly, definitely success is yours”.

Finally the day came – 13th September 2016-The first day. On that day aptitude and e-mail writing test was scheduled in ADCET, Ashta and 8:00 am is the reporting time. I was tensed. After some time test get started. First round was e-mail writing for 10 min. I had written good mail in 9 minutes by using all the words given. After that I felt confident. Next section is aptitude. Total 30 questions were there and 60 minutes to solve. I had tried to solve maximum questions of aptitude. In test out of 30,  total 24 questions I have attempted and I felt confident that I can crack the first round. But, since result were not declared .So I was little bit tensed.

We all were waiting for result. Finally, results were announced on 15th September after one day and 31 are shortlisted for interview from our college. My joy knew no bound when I come to know that I am one of them. The next day there was interview at RIT, Islampur. I went to Sayyad Sir and said I am tensed. Then sir has told me “No more rejections”. At that time I have decided that “I have to do it”. Sir had sent me to Prof. Mr. Sachin Patil sir for the interview. I had prepared some programs and questions that were asked for TCS interview which are given by sir. After that sir had taken my technical interview and it was really beneficial for me. Sir had given me good suggestions. He had taken my HR interview which helped to build my confidence.

Finally the day for which I have waited and struggled for the three years came 16th September 'The TCS Interview' and that day became remarkable day in my life. I went to college in morning with full energy and enthusiasm. We had practice interviews in college which help us to get rid of tension and fear of interview. With the blessings of Prof. Touheed Mujawar Sir, Prof. Suhel Sayyad Sir and team we left the college. We reached RIT at near about 1 pm. We were waiting for interview. I was the first for TI from my college. The first question was obviously Introduce yourself. I had tried my level best to answer the question. Then I was asked about my mini and major projects and the interview continues near about 25-30 minutes with C,C++ and JAVA based  basic questions. As I have certification in .NET so some questions were asked about .NET like what is framework ? And I was also asked to rate myself out of 10 for .NET and  JAVA. And I was asked to solve one problem on speed,time,distance and one simple puzzle.

Within 5 minutes I was called for MR. Interviewer asked me about myself and my family background. As I had mentioned in my introduction that leadership is my strength so Interviewer had given me some situations and asked for my reactions that how would I react, may be to judge my answer. Their expressions make me feel that I am on right track and I am satisfying their expectations. I was called for the HR after some time. I was asked about some common question like Are you willing to relocate?, Can you work in any shift (day or night) and interviewer started explaining about policies of company.

As I was the first student for interview from my college so I have gone through all rounds earlier than other friends and then I have waited for them to complete their interviews. We Left RIT at 10:00pm. And reached hostel at 11:00pm. I was very excited and little bit tensed about results of interview. With same feelings I have managed to sleep as I was so tired.

Next morning brings lots of happiness and feeling of satisfying expectations of parents and teacher. YES I have done it and I got placed in one of dream company of every software engineer TCS. I would like to give credit of my success to my parents, teachers, Prof. Mr. Touheed Mujawar Sir(TPO), blessings of my well-wishers, dear friends and my hard work. Mujawar sir make us feel that we have spirit and we will do anything .But trust me without his efforts and support I could not do so. So special gratitude towards Mujawar sir and I cannot forget head of our family(CSE dept) Prof. Mr. Suhel Sayyad sir whose blessings  and guidance made me capable to achieve the success in terms of placement in TCS.  I have got an opportunity to elaborate my success story, but before commencing it I would like to let you all, have a glance, at my past.
Up to 10th Std. I didn’t had any interest in education. I scored 64%, but after my schooling, my parents & my family inspired me in such a way that I was admitted to Engineering. During this engineering .phase, rather than studying, I did all other things that would let me remain happy. Managing events and leading them was the only thing I was always busy in...
In my entire life I achieved many things and one of the day was the day of my placement..!!
In morning, I worship god that, “Let day be mine” And with the positive hopes I underwent the campus recruitment activity.
First round was aptitude round which I cracked and I was then brought to next i.e. group discussion.My topic was “Even Odd Formula in Delhi”. Total participant in my group were 11.They shortlisted three candidate and I was one of them. I was then sent to programming round where the problem statement was to print “a triangular star pattern”. I cracked that round too. And finally I was invited for the interview..!!
I received blessings from all my well-wisher, friends and family. On the very next day, I arrived at TKIET, warnanagar for my interview.
I was the third person to be interviewed. I opened the door and entered the interview cabin (The place where my career was going to be decide). The panel of two (a ma’am and sir, the two illuminating personalities.) were the interviewers sir and ma’am gave me charming smile and I was asked to have seat. The very first question was, “To introduce yourself”. I ended with my introduction on my project.
They started interviewing me on the basis of the project, completing my project work. I also mentioned about my two extra projects.
I then revealed all my extracurricular activities and zonal sports activities. They were extremely happy with my performance.
My interview was conducted for about 45minutes.
I was then told to wait for my results. Waiting for results was the toughest phase of my life were there hell lot of thoughts banging my head.
Around 6:30pm they invited all we students and the time to reveal the results arrived..!! They said they shortlisted only 5 candidates and my heart started running fastly” lub-dub, lub dub”.
They announced first name and unfortunately it was not mine. They announced second but again it was not mine…..Third… fourth…still it did not contain my name and they announced “fifth” and finally it was mine(JuberAhmed Shakil Sutar).
The incredible moment of my life…and I was experiencing heavenly bliss…..
I am wholeheartedly thank my “ALLAH”, who always showered his blessing on me... I am then thankful to my parents, my ammi and abba…
Further I express my overwhelming gratitude to the person who always supported me for everything “prof. Suhel Sayyed sir” also my brother “prof. Mushtaq Sutar” TPC “prof. S.S. Mane sir” all my teachers and my dear friends.

My journey at Annasaheb Dange college of Engineering & Technology has been a remarkable milestone. It has provided me a platform to discover myself. All the whims and fancies that I had during the rigorous grooming session at college were confronted with the realistic counter parts. "Challenges do bring out the best in us", I would like to share my experience of my campus placement.

              Securing placement from college feels great, it's actually a real learning experience during my first campus. The best experience was my CMS campus held at Ashokrao Mane College on 4th march, my outlook was to get a good company which would help me grow up my career path by applying my skills and knowledge practically. I was confident with my basic knowledge for the campus placement. We had a registration process after which there was a pre-placement talk with all candidates. The HR raised a common question to all of us about CMS, and there I was the one totally prepared to speak about CMS and their services. This was the positive point I gained whereas the HR was impressed by my knowledge and was glad to know about my MCSA and CCNA training which I had completed from CMS.

 More than 450 students attended the 1st round on 4th March which was a based on quantitative aptitude, English grammar, computer hardware, networking and microprocessor. Next day then called me on 5th March to appear for the technical + HR interview. I realized it was time to pull up my socks as the competition was tough and the pressure kept me mounting all over. At the time of interview they asked me many questions like about me, family, and certification course which I had completed, few questions on my past experience and finally set of technical questions related computer network like ports, devices, IP Config etc. On 10th March I received a confirmation call and Email from CMS HR, Pune. 

I had read that "Tough times never last but tough people do....." and I’ve got the one. Success was possible only because of focus and hard work... A big thanks to all those who contributed in my success.

I remember, Chetan Bhagat, one of my favorite writers, said in The NDTV dialogues:

I disappointed in previous interviews not because I don’t have the ability, but because of improper way of expressing the thoughts. If I can improve my skill, then you can also. It is just sake of your dedication to your goal.
After getting failure in Persistent interview, I came to know where I am lagging. What are the areas of improvements. And then began preparing with my colleagues and my teachers. Because they know you better than you. Before going to eInfochips India Pvt Lt., I didn’t know aptitude containment; rather I would say prepare for worst. I got only two days after my university exams; these two days were ‘war days’ for me.
In eInfochips campus drive there are three rounds of selection

• Aptitude test
• Technical Interview -1
• Technical Interview -2 + HR interview

Aptitude test covers major subjects like general quantitative, technical aptitude, logical reasoning and so forth. And the TR1 and TR2 on the next day. I cracked the aptitude round and eligible for the next rounds.
Finally the judgment day arrived. It is around 10:30; one of the volunteer announced my name and took me to interview room. After looking at my resume, Interviewer asked me questions from basic subject C, C++, Java, operating system, data structure, project, puzzles. It was very basic to me. Some of the questions listed below. The most challenging part of the interview was, when technical interviewer started questioning. It was a little bit surprising to me in the technical interview, the interviewer bombarded HR questions. It was almost one hour to complete my interview.  

• Question’s on C - double pointer, Storage classes, data types and so on
• A C program to calculate factorial numbers with recursion and without recursion.
• Questions on OS -Scheduling, Paging, basics of Linux OS.
• Questions on Java –Threading, Why Java? Etc.
• Questions from Microprocessor- why to use microprocessor? What is a registrar? Basic unit of Microprocessor?
• HR questions like to introduce yourself in brief? Why EInfochips? Goals? And so on.
• Puzzles, You may find such puzzles on the Internet.
• And finally in depth, questioning on the project.

Finally, I got selected in eInfochips India Pvt Lt. And Final words for any interview –prepare for the worst, be confident and don’t give up in case of failure. Remember destiny is always there if you have the ability.

Hello, I am Shradha Sargar from ADCET, Ashta. I got placed in eInfochips, and I am sharing my experience of an interview. Firstly, I would like to say thanks to all Teachers and my friends who always support me. I started my preparation on September 2014. In October the TCS and Persistent were come. I was going up to interview, but unfortunately I was not selected. At that time I was very nervous. Our exam was nearly come and I concentrate on regular study. Our exam was finished on 15th December 2014 and the eInfochips was coming on 18th December 2014. I had only two days. So, Shailja and I started the preparation and we more focus on Technical subjects, Operating System and quantitative questions.

The company came on 18th December 2014 at our college. There are three rounds, at first day the Aptitude test and on the second day there were two technical interviews.
On 18th December 2014 the Aptitude test was held at our college. The Aptitude test contains the questions related to quantitative, Operating System, Microprocessor and Data Structure. After giving the test we wait for the result. At 5:30 PM the result was announced and I was selected for next round, i.e. for an interview which was held on the second day.
On 19th December 2014 there were two technical interviews. At 2.30 PM my Technical Interview-I was starting. They ask me questions like:-

• Tell me about yourself?
• About my Mini Project.
• Storage classes and each one with explanation.
• Difference between malloc and calloc.
• Difference between structure and union.
• Circular linked list and its operations.
• Stack.

It was nearly 40 minute interview.  After that I waited for the result. After 30 minutes my result was announced that I am appearing for next Technical Interview-II.
In Technical Interview-II they first read my resume in few minutes and ask me questions like:-

• BE project in deep.
• Static variable and static function.
• Program for String Reverse.
• Context Switch.
• Process Preemption.When CALL instruction comes how control is transferred from the main program and return to the main program.

This was nearly 1 hour interview and they ask me every concept in deep and I was waiting for the result. After completing my interview I was very nervous about the result. After 30 minutes my result was declared that I was hired. I was speechless and very happy when I got to know that I was selected for eInfochips Company.
This is overall about my interview. I think some basic things which are always important and remember in the campus interview that are Self Confidence, Communication skill and clear the basic concepts.

Here,I am trying to share my experience and some additional things that I think which will help you to get placed.

It was 7th Oct 2014 when I came to know that Persistent is arriving on 10thOct 2014.I was ready for campus .As Persistent have good organizational culture, It is core company for IT and CSE also I had 1year gap in Engineering and Persistent don’t have criteria about year gap;Persistent was my target company.I had collected all the information about persistent before start of 7th Sem.My department had started aptitude tests from beginning of Sem.  I was working daily 30 minutes on my aptitude preparation and as I attain lectures with full concentration my basic concepts are clear. So I just took a review of my preparation.

On 10th Oct there was only aptitude test at RIT, Sakharale. Test had following 3 main sections.

1] Quantitative aptitude+ Verbal aptitude+ Technical Aptitude(60 questions for 60 minutes)

2] Programming skills (Program writing)(1 program for 20 minutes)

3] Communication skills (Paragraph/essay writing)(1 subject for 10 minutes)

Networking, Operating System, Data Structure, Database, Software Engineering all these subjects along with Java, C and C++ were covered in aptitude. I had to write a program for taking user data  about tax ,calculate tax, show records, search records by using name ,id and categorize the user according to amount of tax paid. Paragraph was about Traffic problem in India.

In the evening they announced result and as I expected I was selected for next rounds at KIT.

On 11th Oct, They called me for technical interview at 10 AM. I went into the room, there was senior panel; I greeted him. After that he asked me questions some of them are

·         Introduce yourself.

·         Do you like farming?

·         Why you are interested in this job?

·         Which is you favorite subject?  (OS)

·         What is thrashing? Explain functions of OS.

·         What is page hit? What is virtual memory?

·         Questions about projects I have worked on.

·         Some questions on pointer

·         puzzles

·         Some database queries and different techniques to solve those queries.

·         Which party you going to vote for in this election? Why?

·         Questions about program written at the time of aptitude.

Around 10:55AM my technical is finished. I was waiting for my results.At 4:30PM nearly all candidates were completed their 1stand 2nd technical interviews even 80% were completed their HR interviews also. Till now I was thinking that they have rejected me hence not announced my result. At 4:35 they called me directly for HR interview. When I went for HR I was little nervous because 5 people were sited in front of me, I greeted all of them and they started questioning me. Following are some of questions they had asked:

·         Tell me about yourself in brief.

·         Your strengths and weaknesses.

·         What do you know about our company?

·         About my final year project

·         General knowledge and current technology based questions

·          Are you having any questions?

At last they said we will announce results on 13th Oct but you may start preparing for My Passion Challenge.HR round was lasted about 10 to 15 minutes ,I was confident about my selection. At 1:00PM of 13th Oct they declared the results and I was selected. My parents, teachers and friends always supported and guided me to achieve this.

    I would like to say that, “Don’t stop even you have something less than others, instead try to apply whatever you have with you” and success will be yours because,

“Nights may never change but dreams will change,

            Lamps may never change but candles will change,

            Fortune may or may not change but time will definitely change…………….”

I am selected for Fiserv. I would like to share my experience with you. I hope it will help you. First of all let me tell you that there is no shortcut to succeed. The thing which I realized during placement can be matter of fact. Of course it is! The only elixir for placement is typical. Yeah! You guessed right. The skill is the primary quintessence of a placement. There is a saying which makes absolute sense out of it.

“A man who does the common thing in an uncommon way will command the attention of the rest”.

Everything has its USP (Unique Selling Price) which differentiates it from others. And this is the key to success. You must be aware of your unique skill which will not only help you to withstand the competition but also to outstand.
Alright, now let us have a swift glimpse over the campus procedure.
I attended the campus on 16th October , 2014.I was bit afraid but everything went right.The first round was paragraph writing. Five topics were given and we had to write one of almost 300 words and within 15 minutes. The next round was aptitude. The duration for aptitude round was  75 min.1 hour test includes quantitative, verbal, flowcharts, logical reasoning and the remaining 15 min were for technical questions. There was sectional cut-off. Last but not least was the round which includes technical as well as personal interview questions. Technical questions were based on subjects like Database, Operating System ,Software Engineering ,Programming languages like C,C++,Java .Personal interview questions  were general questions just to check the confidence and communication. 
Don’t underestimate yourself and overestimate the others. No one is born perfect. And they, too, don’t expect the hundred percent perfection. An individual effort makes you extraordinary. The group study will definitely help you to utilize more time. It is better to accentuate the best and downplay the worst of you while facing the campus.
Most of the time a panel observes your approach to tackle the problem, responsiveness, positivity, confidence level, grasping, representation skill, knowledge of subject, communication, mannerism and the moral ethics which you carry along.
Dos:

• Practice the brain storming puzzles
• Improve the communication skills
• Nurture the habit of reading
• Improve representation skill

Don’ts:

• Mugging up the concepts
• Impatient to answer
• Arguing the panel

In April 2014, there was a pool campus of Tech Mahindra in my college. By knowing this I was very excited and at that time I decided to give my best. I went through all the rounds and then get placed in Tech Mahindra. Now I am glad to share my experience with you all.

The basic eligibility criteria was :

• For 10th – 60% and above
• For 12th – 70% and above
• For BE/B. Tech – aggregate 60% and above

There were total five rounds.

First round-Aptitude test

Aptitude test consisting of total 170 questions and time limit was 90 minutes. There were 15 questions from quantitative and 55 questions from reasoning both verbal and non-verbal.
Though there were 170 questions and time was comparatively less, the skill was to attempt maximum questions in less time. Try to attempt as many questions as possible. Choose those sections first in which you are perfect.

Second round-Comprehension test

In this round, particular topic was given and said to write a comprehension on that in 10 minutes. Topics were related to general affairs. This was to check the grammar and writing skill.

Third round- Extempore

In this, they were giving any random topic on the spot and have to speak on that for 1 minute. It was to check communication skill and the ability to express.

Fourth round-Technical Interview

Technical interview basic technical questions were asked. Most of the questions were related to Java, C#, UNIX, etc. and also regarding final year project.

Fifth round-HR Interview

In HR interview, HR asked general questions like introduction, hobbies, strength, etc. They also asked particular questions just to check your presence of mind, ability to handle situations.

Before Tech Mahindra’s campus I tried for four companies. I could not crack them. Still I didn’t gave up and continued my preparation. So I want to tell you that don’t get disappointed. There will be another better opportunity waiting for you. Have patience and keep trying. Success will definitely come to you.
